About The Position
The Laboratory Support Services Manager is responsible for establishing and leading S&R, inventory management and Equipment Services to support manufacturing activities. This role ensures efficient operation of laboratory and facility infrastructure while enabling organizational growth, operational excellence, and regulatory compliance. The Support Services Manager will also serve as a coordinator for other support functions managed by cross functional partners and vendors.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, Life Sciences, Supply Chain Management or related discipline.
- 5+ years of experience in laboratory operations or related environments or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 2+ years direct people management.
- Experience managing S&R / inventory procedures.
- Experience managing laboratory equipment service contracts, vendors, and PM programs.
- Ability to work in a laboratory/manufacturing environment, including standing for extended periods.
- Ability to lift, move or carry equipment up to 50 lb.
Nice To Haves
- Hands on experience using SAP
- Experience operating in regulated environments
Responsibilities
- Establish and lead S&R, inventory management and Equipment Services functions within manufacturing operations.
- Coordinate facility, equipment installation / maintenance, EHS and waste management activities with cross-functional partners and external vendors.
- Support site readiness for ISO9001/13485 certification.
- Other duties as assigned.
