Requirements

BS undergraduate degree in a related science (e.g., Microbiology, Zoology, Animal Science).
Available between the hours of 9am-5pm Monday-Friday for approximately 35-40 hours/week.
Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S.
Will occasionally lift materials and equipment heavier than 40 pounds.
Maintain confidentiality, be punctual, and communicate changes in work schedule.
Prioritize responsibilities to meet deadlines with successful completion of work.
Ability to work inclusively in a diverse setting.

Responsibilities

Assist with maintaining accurate laboratory observations.
Document research work both independently and under the direct supervision of the supervisor.
Assist with sample handling (animal serum, whole blood and other sample types).
Assist with study organization, under supervision, including labeling of tubes, boxes, and storage.
