About The Position

This opportunity is for a Laboratory Supervisor in Memphis, TN. The role involves leading laboratory operations with a focus on identifying areas of opportunity and implementing action plans. The supervisor will support the Regional Manager with organizational goals and objectives, including developing and inspiring their team. The position requires interaction with a variety of clients, patients, employees, and business units, with a commitment to customer-focused service. Responsibilities include reviewing business indicators, optimizing processes, and maximizing profitability, as well as championing safety, compliance, and quality control. This role will have routine access to Protected Health Information (PHI), and employees will be trained on reasonable safeguards and are expected to maintain strict confidentiality and abide by all applicable privacy and security standards. Employees are expected to access PHI only when required to fulfill job duties.

Requirements

• Active Laboratory Supervisor License for the state of Tennessee
• A valid driver’s license and an excellent driving record for the past three years.
• Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, under time constraints, without close supervision.
• Previous supervisory experience.

• Previous experience in a clinical laboratory or other service organization.
