About The Position
The Laboratory Supervisor (Chemistry/Hematology) will work 100% FTE, Monday-Friday, 7:00am-3:30pm at UW Health Swedish American Hospital. This role is responsible for overseeing laboratory operations within the Chemistry/Hematology departments.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree from a regionally accredited college/university.
- Must provide copy of HS diploma or equivalent, or highest level of completed degree obtained.
- Successful completion of annual clinical, age and job specific competencies and skill verification tools.
- MT (ASCP) or MLS (ASCP) or equivalent certification.
- ASCP categorical certification for the department of responsibility or current MLT certification with MLS certification within 6 months is acceptable.
- Four years of experience after certification required.
- Certification must be maintained by submitting appropriate continuing education documentation to certifying agency.
