Requirements

  • Supervising, training and mentoring clinical laboratory staff
  • Overseeing and participating in the collection, processing and analysis of lab specimens
  • Maintaining high-quality standards to ensure accurate, reliable patient test results
  • Ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory guidelines, including CLIA, CAP, and OSHA
  • Managing and troubleshooting laboratory equipment to ensure its proper function
  • Assisting in the development and implementation of quality control programs
  • Coordinating and supervising the work schedule of laboratory personnel
  • Conducting regular performance evaluations of lab staff
  • Collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to interpret lab results
  • Keeping abreast of advancements in the field of clinical laboratory science
