Primary Function/General Purpose of Position The Store Room Clerk is responsible for checking in supplies when they arrive putting them in proper departments, notifying managers of supplies not delivered, handling all paperwork. Essential Job Functions: Supports the SuperUser Lab with lab supplies: intake, dating, tracking and distributing. Examines, inspects, and accepts delivered lab packages from the dock and place date of receipt on products. Delivers supplies to departments from the supply room. Fulfills and ships requests for supply orders for clients. Marks items with identifying inventory codes. Stocks supplies in departments as needed or requested. Communicates to Client Distribution Manager: inventory in laboratory stock room for all sections to Lab Manager Distribution, damaged or missing products, backordered products and below par inventory. Fulfills supplies order by Outreach Clients and timely pick up by couriers. Prepares documents, such at shipping labels to route product. Monitors first in first out (FIFO) rotation of stock for expiration dates. Maintains a filing system of all purchase orders. Maintains organization within the stockroom. Requirements

  • Current valid Driver’s License (required)
  • High School Diploma (required)
  • 1 year of experience working in a Laboratory Setting (required)

Nice To Haves

  • Forklift license (preferred)
  • 1 year of stock room, warehouse, shipping clerk, or warehouse experience (preferred)
