About The Position

The Laboratory Service Specialist serves as the primary field-based liaison between Laboratory Services and Kelsey-Seybold Clinic ambulatory practices, collection centers, and healthcare providers. The position is responsible for educating providers and clinic staff on laboratory processes, specimen collection requirements, quality standards, new test implementation, and regulatory compliance. This individual promotes consistent laboratory practices, improved specimen integrity, enhances provider satisfaction, and supports the delivery of safe, high-quality laboratory services throughout the organization. Requirements

5+ years of experience in laboratory operations, laboratory outreach, specimen collection, phlebotomy, healthcare training, client services, or ambulatory healthcare operations
Demonstrated solid presentation, communication, and customer service skills
Driver’s License and access to reliable transportation

Knowledge of laboratory information systems and electronic health records
