MT/MLT/Laboratory Scientist:40 Hours Per Week (AM)
About The Position
Ascension Saint Alexius in Hoffman Estates is seeking a Laboratory Scientist (MT/MLT) for a full-time, 1.0 FTE position. This role involves specimen processing, test performance, and reporting results for waived, moderate, and high complexity tests. The individual will adhere to established procedures, participate in quality control, and comply with quality assurance and management standards set by the department and regulatory agencies (JCAHO, CAP, CLIA). Specimen collection may also be required. Alverno Laboratories is a large integrated laboratory network serving hospitals in the Midwest, committed to advancing community health and wellness.
Requirements
- MLT: Associates degree in a laboratory science or medical laboratory technology from an accredited institution.
- MT: Bachelor degree in medical laboratory science/medical technology from an accredited college or university.
- Or Bachelor degree in chemical, physical or biological sciences.
Nice To Haves
- At least 1 year of pertinent full-time clinical laboratory experience or training preferred.
