About The Position

We are a highly reliable scientific organization building a culture of service. Our commitment advances the health, wellness and continuity of care in the communities we serve. We are one of the largest integrated laboratory networks serving hospitals in the Midwest region. Our network includes 32 hospitals and multiple physician offices. This individual is responsible for specimen processing, test performance and reporting test results. Testing performed will include waived, moderate and high complexity tests as authorized by the Director. He/she will report results of all tests performed according to established procedures. In addition, this individual will participate fully in all quality control procedures and comply with quality assurance and quality management standards within the department as outlined by the department, JCAHO, CAP, CLIA and other applicable agencies. He/she will perform specimen collection as necessary.

Requirements

Associate or bachelor's degree in a lab science
Graduate of an accredited medical lab technician or medical technologist program required
Meets the alternative education and experience
Set forth by the ASCP to become registry eligible for the MLT or MT category
