We are looking for a Laboratory Sanitation Technician in 330 Westway Pl Suite 400, Arlington, TX 76018 USA. Your mission will be to: Purpose (Objective): This position is responsible for providing basic assistance to the operations of the laboratory washing containers used in the process of testing.

Requirements

  • Highschool diploma or GED or equivalent work experience.
  • Ability to follow specific instructions.
  • Performs routine tasks that follow established procedures.
  • Uses knowledge of the area and the advice of the supervisor to solve problems.
  • Established guidelines and Standard Operating Procedures provide information to determine the correct preparation techniques.

Responsibilities

  • Wash containers used in analysis.
  • Maintain a safe clean work area around the sink.
  • Maintain clean laboratory by discarding waste and cleaning and sanitizing countertops, walls, floors, shelves, equipment, sinks, water baths etc. using cleaning solvents.
  • Maintain a clean laboratory by properly storing chemicals, reagents and supplies. Maintain adequate stock of these materials.
  • Organize laboratory glassware and plastics.
  • Decontaminate laboratory materials through the use of the autoclave.
  • Support corporate quality and continuous improvement process.
  • This position has the responsibility and authority to identify departures from the quality system or test procedures and document such observations in accordance with the prescribed complaint system.
  • Perform other related duties as needed.
