About The Position
This is a temporary appointment for a Professional & Scientific position. The role involves designing, conducting, and analyzing data sets of bacteria-bacteria interactions during planktonic and biofilm growth states. Responsibilities include preparing CRISPRi-seq libraries for Illumina sequencing and microbiome 16S rRNA amplicon community profile libraries for Nanopore sequencing. The specialist will also perform bioinformatic and statistical analyses of sgRNA Illumina sequencing reads of CRISPRi-seq experiments, and prepare data summaries, reports, and manuscripts, presenting research findings to team members.
