About The Position

Eurofins Scientific is an international life sciences company providing analytical testing services. The US Drug Metabolism and Pharmacokinetics (DMPK) team is seeking an Operations Specialist to provide essential operational support. This role is crucial for ensuring smooth coordination among scientific teams, global sites, and external partners, contributing to the safety, health, and sustainability of products and the environment. Eurofins has grown significantly over 30 years, operating numerous laboratories worldwide and offering a vast array of analytical methods.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 2+ years of experience in operations support within the biotechnology, pharmaceutical, or CRO industries
  • Strong organizational and communication skills with a high attention to detail
  • Demonstrated proactivity and ability to follow tasks through to completion
  • Demonstrated ability to recognize, assess, and appropriately escalate issues using strong professional judgment
  • Skilled at managing multiple priorities and building strong cross-functional relationships
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without restriction or sponsorship

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for day-to-day operational support within the US DMPK Department.
  • Collaborate with on-site scientific teams, European colleagues, and external suppliers (e.g., CROs) to ensure timely and efficient processing of requests, including study planning, result integration, and issue resolution.
  • Support the implementation of tools (e.g., Benchling) and processes to enhance team communication and operational efficiency.
  • Track training assignments and ensure compliance with internal requirements.
  • Execute operational tasks such as shipping and receiving of samples.
  • Set up purchase orders, manage purchasing and invoicing, track spend, and assist with budget documentation.
  • Ensure timely receipt and review of data and input into digital platforms.
  • Draft memos and non-scientific communications.
