About The Position

ACE Quality Control is seeking a motivated Laboratory Manager for its Roseville office. This role involves leading and overseeing daily laboratory operations, maintaining accreditations, ensuring equipment calibration and compliance, and performing various material tests. The ideal candidate will be organized, quality-focused, and eager to contribute to the growth of the laboratory and the company. ACE Quality Control is a locally owned Engineering, Special Inspection, and Materials Testing firm serving clients throughout California.

Requirements

• 3+ years of Special Inspection, Materials Testing, Civil Inspection, or related experience
• Proven leadership and supervisory experience
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Experience mentoring and managing staff
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Outlook, and Adobe products
• College education
• Certifications such as Nuclear Gauge Safety Certification, Aggregate Testing Technician Level I, ACI Concrete Field Technician Grade I, Concrete Strength Testing Technician, Caltrans, or related industry certifications

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee daily laboratory operations
• Maintain CCRL and AMRL accreditations and prepare for audits
• Ensure equipment calibration and laboratory compliance
• Perform routine concrete breaks and laboratory testing
• Log, process, and track materials and test samples
• Perform testing in accordance with ASTM and AASHTO standards
• Process and review final test results
• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient laboratory
• Ensure deadlines are met and quality standards are maintained
