About The Position
The Laboratory Manager provides leadership and oversight of the hospital’s laboratory department. The role ensures efficient daily operations, effective staff management, and compliance with regulatory standards. The Laboratory Manager implements department strategies, policies, and procedures while supporting high-quality laboratory services. The position is 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Medical coverage is available on the first day of employment; all other benefits become effective on the first day of the month following the hire date.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Laboratory Science or a related field, or equivalent.
- ASCP certification as a Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS), Medical Technologist (MT), or equivalent.
- Minimum of 5 years of laboratory experience.
- Minimum of 2 years of supervisory or leadership experience.
