About The Position

Intertek is seeking a Lab Manager to join their Caleb Brett team in Corpus Christi, TX. This role is on-site and offers a career in the Inspection and Lab Testing business within the ATIC Industry. Intertek Caleb Brett provides specialized Cargo inspection and analytical assessment services to the oil and gas, chemical, and other commodities markets. They have a global network of laboratories and over 130 years of experience, focusing on Total Quality Assurance. The Laboratory Manager is responsible for Quality Management, Health, Safety and Environmental Compliance, Legal and Ethical Compliance, and Training.

Requirements

Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong Leadership skills
Ability to lead and motivate employees to actively support the objectives of the laboratory
Organized with time management skills
Experience in handling chemical and petroleum products
Protocol, procedure and safety oriented
Understand the significance of the data generated by test methods
3-5 year minimum, specifically in GC lab experience, is required
Valid Driver's License with reliable driving record is required
Minimum one year of managerial experience within a petroleum laboratory
Minimum Five (5) years of hands-on working experience in a petroleum laboratory

Nice To Haves

A college degree in chemistry from an accredited college or university is a plus!
