About The Position

Play a vital role in supporting construction and infrastructure projects across Southwestern Ontario by keeping materials, samples, and equipment moving safely and efficiently. As a Laboratory Logistics Driver, you will be a trusted link between field teams and laboratory operations — helping ensure quality testing, reliable results, and safe project delivery. A WSP fleet vehicle is provided for all routes.

Requirements

  • A valid Ontario driver’s licence with a minimum of 2 years of clean driving experience.
  • Confidence operating pickup trucks and cargo vans.
  • A strong sense of responsibility, reliability, and personal accountability.
  • Sound judgement and the confidence to ask questions when clarification is needed.
  • The ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Clear verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • The ability to multitask and perform well in a fast‑paced, operational environment.
  • A genuine commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork.

Responsibilities

  • Transport construction material samples, equipment, and supplies between job sites and laboratories with care and accuracy.
  • Plan and execute efficient daily pick‑up and delivery routes across Richmond Hill, Etobicoke, Mississauga, Burlington, Cambridge, with occasional travel to other WSP locations within Ontario.
  • Support laboratory testing schedules by coordinating timely inbound and outbound materials.
  • Promote a strong safety culture by following all Health & Safety requirements and WSP policies.
  • Communicate professionally with laboratory and field staff to ensure smooth operations.
  • Maintain delivery logs and required documentation with attention to detail.
  • Contribute to general laboratory logistics and warehouse operations as needed.
  • Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
  • Assist with data entry, sample tracking, sample storage management, and other administrative activities to support laboratory operations and testing programs.
