Nemours Children’s Health is seeking a Laboratory Informatics & Technology Architect to join their team. This full-time, remote position requires the candidate to reside in specific states (Alabama, Colorado, Delaware, District of Columbia, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Maryland, Missouri, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, or Virginia). The role is responsible for leading the strategy, design, and delivery of technology solutions supporting the future of laboratory medicine, with a strong emphasis on digital pathology. The ideal candidate will be an experienced laboratory informatics or healthcare IT professional with knowledge of anatomic pathology workflows, digital imaging, laboratory information systems, electronic medical records, and clinical and research laboratory operations. The architect will shape the roadmap for laboratory applications, digital pathology platforms, and instrument/system integrations, collaborating with pathologists, laboratory leaders, operational teams, vendors, and Information Systems teams to ensure solutions are secure, scalable, reliable, interoperable, and aligned with enterprise standards. As a technical leader, the architect will guide digital pathology initiatives, laboratory application implementations, issue resolution, and long-term system planning, acting as a vendor contact, stakeholder partner, and mentor.
