About The Position
A well-respected community hospital located just outside of Goodland, Kansas, is seeking a Laboratory Director to join their team. This is a Full-Time, Permanent, Direct-Hire opportunity with a Day Shift schedule. The position offers $84,300 - $163,000 annually plus 6 months of housing assistance. The surrounding location is a quiet, close-knit community with a self-sufficient lifestyle and local amenities. Requirements
- Must have 5+ years of MT/MLT experience
- Must have a Bachelor's of Science in Medical Laboratory Science or a similar field
- Must have ASCP Certification as an MT or MLT
Responsibilities
- Responsible for administrative direction: interviewing, hiring, orienting, in services, performance evaluations and termination of employees
- Delegating specific technical and quality tasks while retaining ultimate accountability
- Overseeing quality control programs and proficiency testing results
