About The Position

A hospital located near Savannah, GA is looking to hire a full-time, permanent Laboratory Director to join their team. The Laboratory Director provides direct supervision of the operation of the Clinical Laboratory and technical oversight of point of care testing. This role is responsible for the achievement of Clinical Laboratory compliance with accreditation standards, GDCH and OSHA guidelines. The Director will also be responsible for the application of future technologies and processes that will continue to provide best possible outcomes for patients, caregivers, and the financial viability of the organization. Additionally, the role is responsible for the provision of an adequate supply of blood and blood products. The Laboratory Director will report to the CNO.

Requirements

• Clinical competence in Medical Technology.
• Must have ASCP or AMT.
• Three to five years’ experience in laboratory management or related field.

• Concentration in medical technology or related field preferred.
