Requirements

• Bachelor of Science Degree, Medical Technologist, ASCP (certified as a technologist specialist.)
• Must possess five (5) years prior medical experience.
• Possess three (3) years of supervisory experience.
• Possess excellent verbal and written communication, mathematical, and analytical skills.
• Demonstrate knowledge of information systems, software applications and telecommunication systems.
• Demonstrate the ability to make decisions, solve problems, and promote laboratory services and organization to physicians and general public.

Nice To Haves

• Master's degree in science and four (4) years of supervisory/management experience.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for overall planning, quality improvement activities, and daily operations of Laboratory Services.
• Collaborates with others on operational, planning, fiscal, human resources and quality management issues to assure that administrative systems, techniques and procedures are appropriate for services.
• Maintains twenty-four hour accountability for Laboratory Services.
