Requirements

  • You hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business, Operations Management, or a related scientific/technical discipline.
  • You demonstrate at least 5 years of experience in Operations, Engineering, Quality, or a similar field, with a proven track record of leading cross-functional teams.
  • You possess professional experience with process mapping, statistical analysis, and reporting tools to drive data-driven results.
  • You are a seasoned professional capable of exercising independent judgment to solve complex problems in an evolving environment.
  • In this position, you will be in contact with colleagues across Canada, so a proficient level of English and fluency in French is required.

Nice To Haves

  • You hold an advanced certification in continuous improvement, such as a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or Master Black Belt.
  • You demonstrate over 5 years of consulting experience delivering process improvement and workflow optimization services within a healthcare or laboratory setting.
  • You are proficient with laboratory data systems and middleware, showing a strong understanding of how diagnostic solutions function at an institutional level.

Responsibilities

  • Leading the design of complex, automated laboratory solutions to optimize customer processes and improve overall efficiency.
  • Partnering with multi-functional teams and external stakeholders to align diagnostic solutions with unique customer priorities and challenges.
  • Analyzing laboratory best practices and performance data to recommend short- and long-term process improvements.
  • Utilizing advanced simulation tools and proprietary methods to visualize and validate the performance of proposed laboratory systems.
  • Communicating the strategic value of consulting services through expert documentation, professional presentations, and marketing materials.
  • Ensuring a seamless transition from the design phase to implementation by providing accurate drawings and floorplans.
  • Fostering commercial opportunities by positioning a comprehensive portfolio of services and diagnostic systems to key decision-makers.
  • Evolving global consulting practices by contributing to the development of standardized tools and high-value service methods.
  • Navigating complex organizational landscapes to influence people at all levels and drive successful project outcomes.
