About The Position
Under the direction of the section supervisor, performs day-to-day tasks in accessioning and phlebotomy areas. This includes receipt, handling, accessioning, and centrifuging specimens, sending specimens to reference laboratories, data entry, and other support laboratory functions. Required to work weekends and holidays based on the department’s needs.
Requirements
- High school diploma
- At least 6 months Clinical Laboratory data entry experience
- Some technical familiarity related to the laboratory
- Relevant experience in a clinical laboratory
