About The Position

We are seeking a Laboratory Associate to join IQVIA Laboratories at Valencia, CA. We hire passionate innovators who drive healthcare forward through thoughtful and inclusive collaboration. Responsible for performing routine laboratory testing procedures to generate accurate data for use in clinical trials research. This role is based onsite in Valencia, CA and follows a Tuesday through Saturday shift from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• 6 months relevant lab experience require OR Equivalent combination of education, training and experience required
• Basic knowledge of Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and applicable regulatory standards
• Knowledge of laboratory equipment, instrumentation, and analytical techniques
• Other Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be accepted in lieu of degree
• Basic knowledge of laboratory safety procedures, infection control, and hazardous material handling
• Ability to maintain accurate documentation and manage workflow effectively
• Strong collaboration and communication skills with internal stakeholders
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, frequent standing and walking, occasional sitting, close eye work requirement (computer, typing, reading small prints).
• Occasional exposure to cold temperatures.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine analysis of specimens and document results according to SOPs and regulatory guidelines
• Evaluate analytical results against system-generated algorithms and defined acceptance criteria
• Identify atypical results or errors and escalate to senior laboratory personnel
• Prepare buffers, reagents, and solutions required for laboratory analysis
• Maintain proper post-analysis storage of samples and reagents
• Assist in maintaining laboratory organization in alignment with 6S standards
• Communicate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders and notify staff of supply shortages
