About The Position
The Laboratory Assistant assists with laboratory activities and other assigned tasks. Responsibilities include phlebotomy and collecting, preparing, and processing biological specimens. The role may also involve entering laboratory orders and results. The assistant helps prepare laboratory specimens and supplies and ensures laboratory data is accurate and high quality while working in a safe and professional environment.
Requirements
- May be required to have Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or General Educational Development Diploma (GED) preferred.
- Completion of a formal phlebotomy program preferred.
- Phlebotomy experience preferred.
- Experience in a laboratory-related field preferred.
Responsibilities
