Laboratory Assistant - MCL
About The Position
As a laboratory assistant, you will be a member of a diverse, agile team responsible for biological specimen receipt, identification verification, processing, and storage. In addition, you will perform a variety of clerical, processing, and other laboratory duties that include maintaining supply inventory, filing, stocking, receiving shipments, and cleaning. This position is located at the Superior Drive Support Center where immediate parking is available. In addition to gaining clinical laboratory experience, you will have many opportunities for career advancement within Specimen Operations. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship; Also, Mayo Clinic DOES NOT participate in the F-1 STEM OPT extension program.
Requirements
- Individuals hired to this position are required to complete 2 years in this position before becoming eligible to apply for other positions within Mayo Clinic.
Nice To Haves
- Experience is preferred, but Mayo Clinic provides on-the-job training for this role.
