Requirements

High School Diploma/GED
Excellent customer service and time management skills

Lab Assistant Program certification
Phlebotomy program certificate

Responsibilities

Be the backbone of our lab's specimen processing and intake , ensuring samples are organized, correctly distributed, and handled with care.
Manage send-out testing , meticulously preparing and packaging specimens for external labs.
Champion positive patient identification and embody HumanKindness in every interaction.
Contribute to a collaborative and efficient workflow , taking ownership and assisting team members.
(If qualified and regulated) Perform blood collection (phlebotomy) on all age groups, including Blood Bank collections, adhering to best practices.
(If qualified and regulated) Conduct CLIA waived and moderately complex laboratory testing, diligently evaluating and releasing results under CLS guidance.
Maintain lab equipment , monitor supply inventory, and assist with stocking and logging.
Utilize good judgment and seek assistance when needed to ensure smooth operations.
