About The Position
Join the clinic lab team in providing exceptional patient care and gain valuable medical skills, while playing a critical part in our patients' diagnoses. Aids in preparing laboratory specimens and supplies. May be responsible for entering laboratory orders and results. Ensures the accuracy and quality of laboratory data in a safe and professional work environment.
Requirements
- High school diploma or General Educational Development Diploma (GED) preferred.
- Completion of a formal phlebotomy program, phlebotomy experience, and experience in a laboratory-related field preferred.
- May be required to have Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Responsibilities
- Performing phlebotomy and blood collection services to patients of all ages
- Preparing samples for pickup
- Charting blood draws
- Maintain appropriate supplies inventory
- Collecting, preparing and processing specimens biological specimens.
