About The Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Laboratory Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will support daily laboratory operations by preparing specimens, organizing supplies, and ensuring all processes meet quality and accuracy standards. This position plays a key role in maintaining a safe, efficient, and professional laboratory environment.

Requirements

High school diploma or General Educational Development Diploma (GED) preferred.
Completion of a formal phlebotomy program, phlebotomy experience, and experience in a laboratory-related field preferred.
May be required to have Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Strong attention to detail
Ability to follow instructions and established protocols
Reliable, professional, and committed to quality
Comfortable working in a fast-paced laboratory setting
Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Responsibilities

Prepare laboratory specimens and related supplies in accordance with established procedures and safety guidelines
Ensure the accuracy, quality, and integrity of laboratory data
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
Assist in the onboarding and training of new team members
Perform additional duties as assigned to support overall laboratory operations
Phlebotomy, collecting, preparing and processing specimens biological specimens
Assists in performing laboratory activities and other assigned tasks
Aids in preparing laboratory specimens and supplies
May be responsible for entering laboratory orders and results
Ensures the accuracy and quality of laboratory data in a safe and professional work environment
