About The Position
The Lab Assistant / Specimen Accessioner will primarily be responsible for accessioning and processing a high volume of laboratory specimens in the Research Department. This role requires a strong focus on organizational skills and attention to detail to ensure compliance with company policy, HIPAA regulations.

- Access to confidential information, both written and oral, in the course of their employment and job responsibilities.
- High school diploma, associate degree, or a non-science college degree is acceptable.
Nice To Haves
- A Bachelor of Science in biology will be plus.
- Six months of previous lab experience is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Accurately accession and process a high volume of specimens.
- Ensure that all tasks are performed with strict attention to detail and organization.
- Maintain the integrity of Protected Health Information (PHI).
- Ensure that only authorized individuals have access to patient's medical information and that all handling of information is in compliance with company policy and HIPAA.
