Job Summary and Responsibilities As our Laboratory Technical Assistant, you will receive, process, and prepare patient specimens for analysis, ensuring proper labeling and documentation. You will assist medical technologists with various tasks, maintaining a clean and organized laboratory environment. Every day you will perform clerical duties such as data entry, answering phones, and managing incoming and outgoing lab reports. You will also be responsible for maintaining supply inventory, ordering new materials, and ensuring equipment is functioning correctly.
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED
- Excellent customer service and time management skills
Nice To Haves
- Phlebotomy program certificate
- Lab Assistant program certificate
- Six (6) months experience in an acute care facility
Responsibilities
