Requirements
- Upon hire: California Certified Phlebotomy Technician I License
- Upon hire: California Certified Phlebotomy Technician II License
Nice To Haves
- 2 years of college coursework/training
- 1 year experience as a clinical laboratory assistant in an acute care laboratory
Responsibilities
- Process laboratory specimens
- Perform clerical duties
- Maintain daily quality control data
- Assist in maintaining laboratory equipment
- Assist Medical Technologists in clinical laboratory tests
- Complete all send outs
- Answer the phone to assist units with laboratory questions
- Perform phlebotomy
- Assist with the collection of other types of specimens
