Laboratory Aide PRN
About The Position
Seeking a PRN (work as needed) Laboratory Aide to work every 3rd weekend and potentially occasionally during the week. This role involves processing, ordering of testing, accessioning of specimens, and creating batches for core lab/reference testing. The aide will also assist with clerical quality control and maintenance duties, answer phones, relay patient results, and monitor expected/outstanding logs. The position may also involve performing waived or moderately complex testing as required. Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 8 weeks on the job training provided for phlebotomy
Nice To Haves
- Previous phlebotomy experience or phlebotomy certification from accredited school preferred
