About The Position
Seeking a PRN Laboratory Aide to work as needed, including every 3rd weekend and potentially occasional weekdays. This role is located at Baptist Health Floyd in the Southern Indiana/Louisville, Kentucky area. The position involves processing, ordering of testing, accessioning of specimens, and creating batches for core lab/reference testing. The aide will also assist with assigned clerical quality control and maintenance duties, answer phones, relay patient results, and monitor expected/outstanding logs. The aide may also perform some waived or moderately complex testing as required.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
Nice To Haves
- Previous phlebotomy experience or phlebotomy certification from accredited school preferred
- Can train 8 weeks on the job
Responsibilities
