About The Position

The Labor Relations Department provides strategic guidance and support to leaders across PG&E in managing a union-represented workforce. The department partners with the business on collective bargaining negotiations, contract interpretation, grievance administration, represented-coworker matters, and productive Company-union relationships. More than 17,000 PG&E coworkers are represented by three labor unions. This position serves as a primary resource for the Labor Relations Helpline, providing timely, practical support to leaders on routine labor contract administration matters. The role interprets established contract language, precedent, job aids, and processes to deliver consistent guidance; develops and maintains contractual resources and training; and assists with represented-coworker pay, benefits, leave, testing, reinstatement, and employment-related questions. The position also conducts comprehensive intake, documents relevant facts, resolves matters within scope and coordinates effective hand-offs to Labor Relations Partners or other specialized teams when issues require investigation, negotiation, exception review, or additional expertise. The role is hybrid primarily working from your remote office and may occasionally attend in-person meeting or assigned work from a PG&E office located within the service territory. The HQ will be agreed upon between the hiring leader and the successful candidate.
