About The Position

The Labor Relations Manager is responsible for leading and executing the organization's labor relations strategy within a highly unionized, complex healthcare system. This role serves as the primary subject-matter expert on collective bargaining agreements, grievance administration, labor negotiations, and union-management relations across multiple bargaining units. The Labor Relations Manager provides strategic counsel to senior leadership, Human Resources, and operational leaders on labor matters; ensures consistent interpretation and application of collective bargaining agreements; and leads the daily labor relations function. This role has direct functional leadership responsibility for a Labor Relations Specialist and plays a critical role in labor strategy, contract administration, and dispute resolution.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Labor Relations, Human Resources, Business Administration or related field
• 5 years experience in labor relations, preferably in a unionized healthcare environment
• Previous Experience working with internal and external union representatives and supporting the collective bargaining, grievance and arbitration processes

Nice To Haves

• Master's Degree in Labor Relations, Human Resources, or related field or Juris Doctor Degree
• Previous experience in healthcare or large, multi-site organization
