About The Position
Riverside Medical Group is currently seeking a Labor Pool Hospitalist physician to join our team at Riverside Shore Memorial Hospital in Onancock, Virginia. This role involves providing comprehensive medical care to hospitalized patients, managing and coordinating their care, and working collaboratively with specialists, nurses, and support staff. The ideal candidate will diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions, monitor patient progress, interpret diagnostic tests, and communicate effectively with patients and their families regarding diagnoses, treatments, and discharge plans. Facilitating safe and effective discharge planning is also a key responsibility.
Requirements
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
- Strong clinical and diagnostic skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Experience in hospital settings and familiarity with inpatient protocols
- Commitment to patient advocacy and continuous quality improvement
- Licensed Medical Doctor – State of Virginia
- Current DEA
