About The Position

Temp performs physical tasks to support skilled trades, including site preparation, material handling, and assisting with equipment. Key duties involve cleaning and clearing sites, digging trenches, loading and unloading materials, and operating various hand and power tools. This role requires physical stamina, good communication, and the ability to follow instructions and adhere to safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Site preparation: Clean up construction sites, remove debris and hazardous materials, and prepare the area for construction activities.
• Material handling: Load, unload, and move building materials, tools, and equipment to their designated locations.
• Digging and grading: Dig ditches and trenches, backfill excavations, and compact and level earth using hand tools.
• Assisting tradespeople: Help skilled trades like carpenters, plumbers, and electricians with their tasks.
• Equipment operation: Operate machinery, such as pumps, generators, and potentially heavy equipment like forklifts, under supervision.
• Maintenance: Perform basic maintenance and cleaning of tools and equipment.
• Safety: Adhere to all safety guidelines and help ensure a secure work environment.
