About The Position
The Helper is responsible for cleaning inside buildings and maintaining the outside ground maintenance at the facilities.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent education
- Basic written and verbal communication skills
- Must have the ability to perform work accurately
- Must be reliable and have good time management skills
- For new hires, must meet all Performance Energy Services employment qualifications in force at time of hiring, including successful completion of a background investigation and pre-employment drug screen
- For new hires, must successfully complete all required training by Performance Energy Services
Responsibilities
- Maintain grounds maintenance around the facilities by weedeating, killing weeds with chemicals and picking up trash
- Clean and disinfect designated building areas which includes dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning ceiling vents and restroom cleaning
- Perform and document routine inspections and maintenance activities
- Perform heavy cleansing tasks and special projects as needed
- Notify management of occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs
- Make adjustments and/or minor repairs
- Stock and maintain supply room inventories
- Cooperate with other department staff
- Obey and follow all safety rules and policies
- Wear all appropriate safety equipment (PPE)
- Perform all other duties as assigned by manager and/or supervisor
