About The Position

LMS consultant Role Summary: Lead the design and implementation of labor forecasting methodologies, workforce planning processes, and labor optimization strategies across distribution, logistics, and supply chain operations. Work closely with business stakeholders to establish dynamic labor planning capabilities that align workforce demand with operational requirements.

Requirements

• Experience with labor management solutions such as: Blue Yonder Labor Management, Manhattan Labor Management (Preferred), Reflexis, UKG Workforce Management, Kronos
• Strong understanding of: Labor standards, Engineered labor standards, Workforce optimization, Demand forecasting
• Experience in logistics, distribution, warehouse, or retail operations.
• Strong analytical and process design skills.
• Executive stakeholder management experience.

Responsibilities

• Assess current labor planning and workforce management processes.
• Design labor forecasting models based on: Historical volumes, Demand patterns, Seasonality, Customer service requirements, Operational constraints
• Develop dynamic labor planning methodologies for: Distribution Centers (DCs), Warehousing operations, Transportation operations, Shared service organizations
• Define labor standards and productivity baselines.
• Establish workforce capacity planning processes.
• Support labor budgeting and staffing recommendations.
• Create demand-to-capacity planning frameworks.
• Develop labor planning governance and operating models.
• Partner with operations leaders to validate forecasting assumptions and productivity targets.
