About The Position

Eckert Seamans is a full-service national law firm with a strong reputation and history for success that spans more than 65 years. With approximately 300 lawyers across a network of 14 offices, we provide clients with proactive, solution-oriented business and litigation counsel. We are currently looking for a full-time Labor and Employment associate for our Harrisburg, Pennsylvania office. Our client base includes municipalities, non-profit organizations, educational institutions, and small businesses to governmental entities to Fortune 500 companies. The ideal candidate will have experience in traditional labor and employment matters, administrative law, and civil litigation. Experience should include advising public and private sector employers in labor and employment issues, including hiring, termination, and employee discipline; contract negotiations; interest arbitrations; grievance arbitrations; and employment-related litigation. Candidate should also be equipped to conduct and counsel employers on workplace investigations, including allegations of employee misconduct.

Requirements

Ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of Labor and Employment experience
Must be licensed in Pennsylvania
Strong writing and analytical skills.
Candidates should have an excellent academic background, and possess excellent research, writing, analytical, and communication skills.
Ability to work as part of a firmwide team are required.
