About The Position

Greenberg Traurig (GT), a global law firm, has an exciting full-time employment opportunity for a 2nd – 4th year Associate in the Labor & Employment Practice of our Florham Park, New Jersey office. This Associate will have the opportunity to work with clients, large and small, from a variety of industries across the country, in both litigation and counseling capacities.

Requirements

• 2 or more years of experience in an employment-specific, defense-side role with a regional or national firm.
• Strong academic performance in law school.
• Strong interpersonal, writing and analytical skills.
• Commitment to detail.
• Ability, desire and initiative to "take ownership" over work and career.
• Good standing with the NJ State Bar.

Nice To Haves

• NY admission also preferred.

Responsibilities

• Litigation involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation, whistleblower, and other employment claims.
• Advising employers on compliance issues, such as terminations, leaves of absence, performance management, and wage and hour issues.
• Drafting personnel policies and employment-related agreements.
