About The Position

Greenberg Traurig (GT), a global law firm, has an exciting full-time employment opportunity for an Associate in the Labor & Employment Practice of our Denver Office. This associate will work closely with leading employment practitioners on a broad range of matters, representing and defending employers from emerging companies to Fortune 500 organizations in disputes involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage and hour class and collective action claims, restrictive covenants, trade secrets, and other workplace-related issues. Greenberg Traurig’s Labor & Employment Practice provides an array of workplace strategies and legal counsel, including practical and efficient consulting, technical assistance and litigation services. Our team understands the business impact of labor and employment issues. We have the varied experience needed to help organizations analyze options, make informed decisions and take effective action.

Requirements

  • 2-4 years of law firm litigation experience
  • Strong academic background
  • Superior legal research and drafting skills
  • Demonstrated fluency with AI tools to support their practice
  • Diligent, detail-oriented, proactive, team-oriented, adaptable, and personable
  • Admitted to the Colorado Bar
  • Willing to participate in community and professional organizations as part of professional development

Nice To Haves

  • Employment litigation experience
  • Strong interest in representing employers in complex workplace disputes
  • Experience handling administrative charges
  • Experience drafting agency position statements
  • Experience advising on employment law compliance matters

Responsibilities

  • Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and discovery requests and responses.
  • Conduct fact investigations, witness interviews, document review, and deposition preparation.
  • Assist with hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trials.
  • Support clients in responding to administrative charges and agency proceedings, including matters before the EEOC and state and local agencies.
  • Collaborate with attorneys across Greenberg Traurig offices and practice groups on complex employment litigation matters.
  • Provide employment law compliance advice as opportunities arise.
