About The Position

A premier international law firm is seeking a Labor & Employment Associate Attorney to join its Dallas office. This opportunity is ideal for an attorney interested in representing employers in sophisticated employment litigation, workplace investigations, and labor and employment counseling matters.

Requirements

  • Attorneys in law school classes 2020–2024 are encouraged to apply
  • Experience representing employers in labor and employment litigation, counseling, and workplace investigations gained at a sophisticated law firm
  • Experience handling disputes involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage and hour, restrictive covenants, and wrongful termination
  • Experience drafting dispositive motions, discovery requests and responses, briefs, and other litigation filings
  • Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and advocacy skills
  • Ability to manage sophisticated matters while working directly with clients
  • Excellent academic credentials
  • J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school required
  • Texas bar admission required or ability to become admitted

Nice To Haves

  • Experience representing clients before federal, state, and local administrative agencies, including the EEOC and state labor agencies
  • Experience conducting internal investigations and counseling clients on workplace issues
  • Experience drafting employment agreements, separation agreements, employee handbooks, and workplace policies

  • Advising employers regarding compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws
  • Conducting internal investigations and counseling clients on workplace issues
  • Drafting employment agreements, separation agreements, employee handbooks, and workplace policies
  • Managing sophisticated matters while working directly with clients
