Labor & Delivery RN – Rural Washington
About The Position
This is a 13-week contract opportunity for exceptional L&D Nurses to support five Critical Access Hospitals serving rural communities throughout Central Washington. Instead of being assigned to one hospital, you'll become part of a shared regional resource team, helping independent hospitals in rural communities maintain access to high-quality maternal care. This role is about more than filling shifts; it's about ensuring maternity care is available to rural families and potentially preventing service limitations. You will work alongside dedicated rural healthcare teams who know their communities and care deeply about their patients. This opportunity is ideal for an L&D nurse who enjoys adventure, autonomy, clinical variety, and being part of something bigger than a single hospital.
Requirements
- 3+ years of Labor & Delivery experience
- Active Washington RN license OR eligible multistate/compact RN license.
- ACLS
- PALS
- STABLE
- Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM)
- Reliable transportation
- Strong clinical judgment and independent decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Nice To Haves
- Bilingual Spanish/English
- Previous Critical Access Hospital or rural healthcare experience
- Previous travel nursing experience
- Experience working across multiple facilities or healthcare systems
