Labor & Delivery RN – 13-Week Rural Washington
About The Position
We are looking for exceptional L&D Nurses to support five Critical Access Hospitals serving rural communities throughout Central Washington. This is not a traditional travel assignment. Instead, you'll become part of a shared regional resource team, helping independent hospitals in rural communities maintain access to high-quality maternal care. This opportunity is about more than filling shifts. You are helping keep maternity care available to rural families. Your expertise may be the difference between a hospital having the experienced L&D nurse it needs or having to limit services. You'll work alongside dedicated rural healthcare teams who know their communities and care deeply about their patients. If you're an L&D nurse who enjoys adventure, autonomy, clinical variety and being part of something bigger than a single hospital, this could be the travel assignment you've been looking for.
Requirements
- 3+ years of Labor & Delivery experience
- Active Washington RN license OR eligible multistate/compact RN license.
- ACLS
- PALS
- STABLE
- Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM)
- Reliable transportation
- Strong clinical judgment and independent decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Nice To Haves
- Bilingual Spanish/English
- Previous Critical Access Hospital or rural healthcare experience
- Previous travel nursing experience
- Experience working across multiple facilities or healthcare systems
