About The Position

This is a 13-week contract opportunity for exceptional Labor & Delivery (L&D) Nurses to support five Critical Access Hospitals serving rural communities throughout Central Washington. Instead of being assigned to one hospital, nurses will become part of a shared regional resource team, helping independent hospitals in rural communities maintain access to high-quality maternal care. This role is ideal for nurses who can quickly learn new workflows, policies, and electronic medical records, build trust with new teams, and bring a team-first attitude. The position requires critical thinking, adaptability, clear communication, and a willingness to assist wherever needed.

Requirements

3+ years of Labor & Delivery experience
Active Washington RN license OR eligible multistate/compact RN license
ACLS
PALS
STABLE
Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM)
Reliable transportation
Strong clinical judgment and independent decision-making skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Nice To Haves

Bilingual Spanish/English
Previous Critical Access Hospital or rural healthcare experience
Previous travel nursing experience
Experience working across multiple facilities or healthcare systems
