The Labor Coordinator is responsible for creating and managing daily schedules for all company and temporary employees, ensuring adherence to skill sets, availability, and training. This role involves making schedule adjustments based on business demands, reducing labor as necessary while implementing standard labor guidelines. The position also includes attendance tracking, preparing and distributing daily staffing reports, reviewing and adjusting timecards for accuracy, and submitting daily attendance to temporary agencies. Additionally, the Labor Coordinator will check in new temporary workers and visitors, ensure GMP compliance, support interplant communication, manage the plant de-crewing process, ensure union guidelines are followed, distribute paychecks, and assist in identifying trainers for new staff. The role requires strong communication, organizational, and people skills, proficiency in MS Office Suite and SAP, and the ability to work a flexible schedule in a 24/7 operation.
