AECOM is seeking a Labor Compliance Technician to support labor compliance activities for major capital improvement, maintenance, and development programs in an active airport environment in San Diego, CA. This position will monitor, investigate, and report on contractor and subcontractor labor compliance practices associated with public works construction projects. The role will review certified payroll records, prevailing wage requirements, apprenticeship participation, and related documentation to help ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local labor requirements. The Labor Compliance Specialist will work closely with contractors, subcontractors, project teams, and public agencies, conducting site visits and investigations, resolving payroll and classification discrepancies, supporting labor compliance systems and training, and maintaining accurate records throughout the project lifecycle.
