About The Position

Requirements

  • Seven years experience in the labor compliance in the construction industry.
  • Knowledge of the laws surrounding labor.
  • Familiarity with construction industry contract types and language, particularly as it relates to areas relevant to labor compliance.
  • Ability to comprehend Government and other regulations and determine proper applicability to Company’s business.
  • Current on industry issues related to labor compliance, and as they apply to the Industry.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without requiring employer sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

  • All Senior Labor Compliance Specialist responsibilities.
  • Manage labor compliance group, which oversees labor compliance across the company.
  • Working in conjunction with appropriate people from Operations and other SI Departments, oversee, administer and update the Corporate Labor Compliance Program.
  • Coordinate and perform periodic internal audits of labor compliance procedures.
  • Monitor and stay abreast of applicable laws and regulations that might affect labor compliance policies and procedures.
  • Identify and share best control practices, including software, as it relates to labor compliance, and advise on needed changes to be implemented in such.
  • Manage the investigation of identified or reported compliance issues, working in conjunction with business leadership, and appropriate SI departments, determine appropriate action.
  • Participate in third party/Government reviews, audits and inquiries, working in conjunction with the appropriate departments and outside resources.
  • Identify, develop and participate in needed training on labor compliance efforts.
  • Attend external training and actively participate in industry related compliance organizations to ensure Company is aware of and prepared for current trends/issues associated with the labor compliance areas.
