About The Position

BUILD Renewables is a nationwide engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) company focused on utility-scale solar and battery energy storage systems. The Labor Compliance and Union Reporting Lead administers the company’s labor compliance systems and union reporting processes as its union company becomes operational. The role connects payroll, project, contractor, apprenticeship, and labor-agreement data so compliance issues are identified, assigned, corrected, and documented on time. The position begins as a hands-on individual contributor and functional lead. As the department grows, it may coordinate and review work performed by the IRA and PWA Specialist and Payroll Specialist and may develop into a formal supervisory role. The role reports status to the Payroll and Compliance Manager. The position is hybrid, with three days in the office and occasional project-site or business travel as needed. Work is performed primarily indoors and involves extended sitting, computer use, and detailed data review; jobsite conditions may include elevated noise levels. Extended hours may be required during payroll deadlines, union reporting cycles, system implementations, audits, or project closeout. Occasional lifting of up to 30 lbs. may be required.
